C/R: Police arrest four suspected highway robbers at Potsin

Four suspected armed robbers were arrested in Potsin. This is located in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region. They were involved in a violent robbery on the Winneba Highway.

The suspects ambushed vehicles and robbed commuters around 11 PM on Sunday, June 1. Police sources say the robbers fled when they learned police reinforcements were coming. However, they returned at 1:00 AM to continue their attack.

Unbeknownst to them, police were still patrolling the area. The police arrested four individuals believed to be part of the gang. These suspects are now in custody and assisting with ongoing investigations.
