Dr. Kwame Jantuah, a leading member of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), has emphasized that unity and effective organization are crucial for the CPP to regain political relevance and reclaim power.
Speaking on GHOne TV, Dr. Jantuah urged the party to focus on internal cohesion and planning, warning that disunity would cost the CPP the trust of the electorate.
He pointed to the shifting dynamics of Ghanaian politics, noting that voters now evaluate parties on their performance within four years rather than adhering to the traditional eight-year cycle.
Dr. Jantuah called for a revival of the Nkrumahist tradition, stressing the importance of merging splinter groups and learning from the party's past successes.
“Strong organization, not just leadership, is the foundation for electoral victory,” he said, urging members to prioritize unity for the CPP’s resurgence.
