The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has called on the government to preserve the graves of Sergeant Adjetey, Corporal Attipoe, and Private Odartey Lamptey—three ex-servicemen who played a crucial role in Ghana’s fight against colonial rule.
In a statement, the CPP acknowledged past efforts to honour these national heroes but urged additional steps, including maintaining their graves, supporting their descendants, and renovating their family homes as historic sites.
The party also proposed a posthumous promotion for the fallen soldiers, recognizing their sacrifice for the nation’s independence.
Reaffirming its commitment to Ghana’s progress, the CPP emphasized the need to uphold the legacy of those who fought for the country’s freedom.
