Constitution review committee engages Akufo-Addo, Bawumia, and Kyei Mensah-Bonsu — Kwasi Prempeh confirms

The Constitution Review Committee is making progress in reforming Ghana’s 1992 Constitution.

Professor H. Kwasi Prempeh, Executive Director of CDD-Ghana, shared updates on social media. He mentioned that the Committee held productive meetings with key political figures.

These figures included former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Also present was former Majority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu.

These consultations aim to gather expert opinions before nationwide public engagements begin. Professor Prempeh stated that the Committee will announce a new schedule for public engagements soon.

Meanwhile, the Committee invites input from the public and has opened a channel for written submissions.
