President John Dramani Mahama has stressed the need to eliminate corruption, misconduct, and abuse of power from the Ghana Armed Forces.
Speaking at the swearing-in of the Armed Forces Council, he emphasized that military strength is built on discipline, ethical leadership, and professionalism, not just weaponry.
Mahama urged the new council members to uphold transparency, accountability, and integrity, reminding them that Ghana’s military is respected globally for its discipline.
He warned that any form of corruption would not be tolerated, as military leadership must inspire trust and confidence.
The President called for a continued commitment to service and ethical conduct, reinforcing that a strong military earns public respect through dedication and integrity, not through force or influence.
