Corruption in Ghana is a leadership crisis, not a cultural issue – Daniel Domelevo

Former Auditor General Daniel Domelevo has stated that corruption in Ghana stems from a leadership crisis, not cultural issues.

He emphasized that tackling corruption effectively requires targeting those at the top, as this would set an example for others.

Speaking at a Harvard Club of Ghana event, Domelevo argued that anti-corruption bodies must act decisively.

Vice President of IMANI Africa, Bright Simons, also contributed, highlighting the need for an independent National Media Commission, free from political control, to empower the media to actively combat corruption.
