‘Dampare’s administration had too many question marks’ – Bright Oduro

Retired Commissioner of Police Bright Oduro has taken a swipe at former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, criticizing his leadership style.

Speaking on Channel One TV, Oduro claimed that unlike previous IGPs, Dampare’s administration faced significant internal discontent.

He alleged that despite efforts by senior officers to advise Dampare, he remained unreceptive, creating unease within the force.

Oduro noted that Dampare started well but later took a direction that unsettled the police service.

He believes the recent appointment of COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno as IGP is meant to restore confidence within the ranks.
