Deputy ministerial vetting begins February 24

Deputy Majority Leader Kweku George Ricketts-Hagan has announced that the vetting of deputy ministerial nominees will commence on Monday, February 24, 2025.

Speaking on the process, he noted that the reconstituted Appointments Committee remains unchanged in its statutory composition, with First Deputy Speaker Bernard Ahiafor continuing as Chairman.

The announcement reassures stakeholders of a smooth and predictable vetting process, with no major shifts in leadership or committee structure.
