The MP for Old Tafo, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of poor governance, claiming its rise to power relied on propaganda and unrealistic promises.
Speaking on *The Big Issue* on January 11, Assafuah criticized the NDC for being unprepared to address the realities of leadership.
He referenced a statement by John Jinapor, Minister-Designate for Energy, during President Mahama's inauguration, warning that Ghana had only five hours of fuel left for power generation.
Assafuah dismissed this claim, noting that over 48 hours had passed without power disruptions, calling Jinapor’s statement misleading.
“The NDC must realize they are no longer in opposition. They campaigned on lies and propaganda, and now the reality of governance is catching up with them,” he asserted.
