The Minority in Parliament is worried about the energy crisis. They say the government has not provided clear solutions.
Despite promises from the Energy Minister, power outages continue. Many areas of the country are still affected.
Deputy Minority Leader Patricia Appiagyei expressed frustration at a media briefing. She urged the government to present sustainable measures to solve this issue.
“Dumsor has returned, and it is affecting everyone,” she said. She mentioned her constituency in Kumasi suffers from frequent power shutdowns.
People are saying that Mahama left with darkness and has returned with it. “We are concerned about this situation,” she added.
The Energy Minister had assured them he would resolve it quickly. However, they still face ongoing power issues without a clear solution.
“We are tired of excuses,” Appiagyei concluded.
