E/R: Police launch probe into gruesome triple murder in Nkawkaw

The Central Police Command in Nkawkaw, Eastern Region, is investigating a murder case. Three people were killed in the Kwahu West Municipality.

Sources say masked assailants arrived on a motorcycle. They went straight to where three men and a young boy were sitting. The attackers opened fire, killing two victims instantly.

The third victim tried to escape but was shot behind a nearby house. This incident happened late Tuesday night, May 20. Residents are shocked by the brutal attack.

Police from the Nkawkaw Central Department responded quickly. They helped transport an injured young boy to the hospital. The boy suffered multiple injuries and needs treatment.

The bodies of the deceased have been taken to the hospital morgue. They will be preserved for autopsy purposes. The police are asking for public help to find the attackers involved in this tragedy.
