Unidentified individuals have defaced the statue of COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, the Executive Director of EOCO, in a shocking act of vandalism.

The incident occurred around 11:30 AM at the EOCO premises, despite the presence of two officers who couldn't stop the act, Citi News reports.

The statue, unveiled in October last year to honor Tiwaa and surrounded by the “Obaatanpa Tiwaa Gardens,” has faced public criticism since its installation.

This latest incident has reignited debates surrounding the controversial monument.
