Effia MP Isaac Boamah-Nyarko has criticized the Majority Caucus in Parliament for failing to show dedication to government business.

His concerns come after Speaker Alban Bagbin repeatedly suspended sittings due to the House’s inability to meet the required quorum.

In an interview with Channel One News, Boamah-Nyarko pointed out the Majority’s inconsistent attendance, which he believes is disrupting parliamentary proceedings.

He commended the Minority Caucus for its constructive approach, emphasizing their role in holding the government accountable.

The MP questioned why the Majority, despite having 187 members, struggles to gather the necessary 91 MPs for a quorum.

He argued that their lack of commitment is hindering effective governance while the Minority remains focused on transparency and oversight.
