Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening economic and trade ties with Ghana following a phone call with President John Dramani Mahama.

In a statement issued on February 3, Egypt’s Presidency disclosed that President El-Sisi congratulated Mahama on his re-election and emphasized the deep historical and political ties between the two nations.

He assured that Egypt remains keen on expanding cooperation, particularly in investment and trade.

President Mahama, in response, expressed appreciation for Egypt’s longstanding support and reiterated his government’s commitment to fostering closer relations.

Both leaders pledged to enhance economic collaboration and work together on continental development initiatives to bolster Africa’s growth.
