President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has pledged to ensure a peaceful electoral process and transfer of power in the 2024 general elections.
Speaking at the Ghana Report Summit, he highlighted Ghana's democratic maturity and urged vigilance against misinformation and disinformation.
The government is formulating a national action plan to combat these threats.
National Security Minister Albert Kan-Dapaah also emphasized the media's role in maintaining professionalism and preventing the spread of false information.
Both leaders stressed the importance of upholding democratic integrity and stability as the elections approach.
