The newly elected National Executives of the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG) have strongly rejected claims that the recent election results have been annulled, calling it a desperate ploy to undermine delegates' choice.
In a statement, they dismissed a document signed by Sumaila Hussein Shaibu, who they insist is not the Chairman of the National GRASAG Judicial Council and has no authority to challenge the outcome.
They accused Shaibu of bias, citing his open support for the losing candidates.
Urging students to ignore the claims, the executives stressed that the elections were fairly conducted and validly declared by the Electoral Commission.
"Elections are won at the polling station, not through baseless allegations," they asserted.
