Former Member of Parliament Ali Maiga Halidu has made a bold claim. He says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is responsible for most major developments in Ghana.
Halidu spoke on Adwenekasa with Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Original TV. He praised the NPP's achievements over the years. He believes that their policies have improved Ghanaians' lives.
“Every good thing that has come to Ghana is from the NPP,” he stated confidently. He highlighted key initiatives like the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and Free Senior High School (Free SHS). Other examples include Free Maternal Care and the One-Constituency-One-Ambulance initiative.
Halidu argues these programs have greatly shaped Ghana's socio-economic landscape. He claims the NPP is the only party with a proven record of progress.
He also mentioned that Ghanaians trust the NPP for development. In contrast, he accused the NDC of using deception to gain power. Once in office, he says, they fail to improve people's living conditions.
