Expired Rice Allegations Must Be Investigated — Ablakwa Demands Accountability

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, strongly criticized allegations that expired rice was repackaged and distributed to senior high schools for student feeding.

Speaking on TV3’s Key Points, he condemned the Chief of Staff's comments on the issue as "reckless and irresponsible," accusing them of disregarding facts and standards.

Ablakwa stressed that such practices, if true, would undermine student well-being and damage trust in Ghana’s education and food safety systems.

He also dismissed the rumors as baseless, urging a focus on improving opportunities for students rather than spreading propaganda that detracts from the country's progress.
