Collins Adomako Mensah, Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North, has called on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government to urgently address the worsening power crisis, commonly known as ‘dumsor.’
Expressing frustration over the persistent outages, he argued that the heat caused by erratic power supply is unbearable and requires decisive leadership.
In a social media post, he criticized the government for shifting blame onto the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) instead of providing solutions.
Addressing Deputy Energy Minister Eric Edem Agbana, he challenged the NDC to take responsibility, emphasizing that the crisis is affecting regions beyond the Volta Region.
He reminded the government that leadership is about action, not excuses, urging them to “just fix it.”
