COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, former Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), has been reassigned as Director General of Research and Planning at the Ghana Police Service.
Her appointment follows a presidential directive revoking her EOCO role, as part of efforts to enhance the agency's operations in fighting economic crimes and corruption.
A respected officer, COP Addo-Danquah joined the police service in 1990 and rose through the ranks, earning academic and professional accolades, including becoming a Chartered Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner.
She has had notable roles, including heading the CID's Commercial Crime Unit and serving as the first female Commandant of the Ghana Police Staff Command College.
Her leadership and academic accomplishments have greatly contributed to the Ghana Police Service's success.
