Fummey Selorm confirmed Nsawam Adoagyiri MCE

Fummey Selorm Philibert has been confirmed as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nsawam Adoagyiri. He is also the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the 2020 and 2024 elections in this constituency.

His confirmation followed a competitive voting process. The Member of Parliament, Frank Annor Dompreh, was present during the vote. He nominated himself as an agent to assist the Electoral Commission.

Philibert received 29 out of 38 votes from assembly members. After the announcement, NDC supporters celebrated joyfully on the streets. Some even hooted at Frank Annor Dompreh and his supporters outside the assembly.

Residents expressed optimism about Philibert's leadership to Citi News. They believe he can bring transformation and progress to Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality. One resident said, “Selorm has won. We know what he is capable of.” Another added, “I have followed him for 8 years. We know he will transform Nsawam for us.”
