GA/R: Teshie to benefit from 40.3km inner-city road construction – MP assures residents

Teshie and nearby communities in the Greater Accra Region will see major changes.

Member of Parliament Benjamin Ayiku Narteh announced the construction of 40.3 kilometres of inner-city roads.

He addressed residents' concerns about poor road conditions in the area. The MP for Ledzokuku Constituency expressed empathy for their frustrations. He acknowledged that these issues have persisted for years.

Narteh assured the public that a solution is finally underway. “I share in my constituents’ daily struggles,” he said. He confirmed that the government has approved the road project.

The rehabilitation will cover key areas like Marteye Tsuru, Demo, and Camp Two. Other communities within the municipality will also benefit from this initiative.

According to Mr. Ayiku Narteh, this project is part of broader infrastructure plans. These plans aim to improve mobility and boost local commerce. They also seek to enhance residents' quality of life.

He urged residents to be patient and cooperative as work begins. Narteh promised regular updates and community engagement throughout the project’s duration.
