Larry Gbevlo-Lartey, former National Security Coordinator, has urged innovative measures to combat misinformation and disinformation before, during, and after the 2024 elections.
Speaking at "The Ghana Report Summit," he highlighted the dangers these practices pose to national stability.
Gbevlo-Lartey called for competitive tendering in public procurement and greater engagement with the proposed National Action Plan. He emphasized the importance of a transparent election to ensure credible results and maintain peace.
The summit, attended by over 700 participants, focused on addressing the growing threat of misinformation in the lead-up to the elections.
