Ghanaians didn’t vote NDC for them to ‘misbehave’ – Salam Mustapha

Salam Mustapha, the National Youth Organiser of the NPP, has expressed serious concerns. He is worried about actions taken by the NDC government. Mustapha warned President John Dramani Mahama to note public dissatisfaction.

His comments follow the arrest of NPP activist Alfred Ababio Kumi, known as Adenta Kumi. There was also an attempted security operation at the home of Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman.

Mustapha stated, “I think the president should be worried.” He added that Ghanaians did not vote out the NPP for this behavior from the NDC.

He urged both media and citizens to pay attention to what he calls creeping political repression. Mustapha cautioned that this could affect people beyond just the NPP.

He said, “Today, they are doing it to NPP people.” Some may be happy now, but he warned it could extend to journalists tomorrow.
