Nhyiaeso MP and former Deputy Finance Minister, Dr. Stephen Amoah, has claimed that Ghanaians are regretting their decision to vote the National Democratic Congress (NDC) into power.
Speaking in Parliament on March 18, 2025, he criticized the NDC government for its lack of direction, particularly regarding the much-touted 24-hour economy policy.
Dr. Amoah stated that after surveying 31 NDC MPs, he found conflicting explanations of the policy, suggesting a lack of clear planning.
He argued that Ghanaians are now disillusioned with the NDC's governance.
“The people are saddened and wish they could take back their decision,” he said, adding that frustration is growing over the government's perceived incompetence.
