Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mustapha Gbande, has hit back at the Minority in Parliament, dismissing their concerns over government-led corruption probes.
In a bold statement, Gbande told the Minority to “go and burn the sea,” insisting that investigations into past government appointees accused of corruption will continue.
He emphasized that no one, including former President Akufo-Addo, would be spared if found guilty of misusing public funds.
His remarks follow the Minority’s press conference condemning the Attorney General’s alleged abuse of power in ongoing investigations.
Gbande maintained that Ghanaians expect President Mahama’s administration to uphold accountability, citing the NPP’s poor electoral performance as a reflection of public dissatisfaction with past governance.
