Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu has called out Minority MPs, urging them to take responsibility for Ghana’s economic crisis.
According to him, their support for former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta contributed significantly to the current financial challenges.
Addressing Parliament, he questioned why the Minority defended Ofori-Atta despite calls for his censure, accusing them of enabling reckless borrowing and poor economic management.
“Now that you have lost, you want to blame him for everything. You supported him to mess up the economy,” he stated.
Iddrisu further stressed the need for Parliament to impose borrowing limits, insisting that lawmakers must prevent future administrations from excessive debt accumulation.
