Holiday bundles are only meant for national holidays- Sam George clarifies

Sam Nartey George, the MP for Ningo Prampram and Communications Minister, clarified his tweet about holiday bundles.

He stated that these bundles are only for national holidays. They do not apply to all holidays in Ghana.

This clarification came after users on X expected bundles for Eid al-Adha.

Sam George said, “Barka da sallah. I was clear when I announced the holiday packages.”

He noted that records are available to verify his statement.

The holiday bundles are specific to national days: Independence, Workers, Republic, Founder’s, and Farmers Days.

Religious holidays like Easter, Christmas, Eid al-Fitr, and Eid al-Adha are not included.

Earlier this year, the Minister informed Ghanaians about this initiative for holiday bundles.
