I’ve been invited by NIB twice to account for my stewardship at Education Ministry – Napo reveals

Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, known as Napo, is a former running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He has shared that he visits the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) to discuss his time as Education Minister.

He mentioned that he has been to the NIB office twice. During these visits, he provided details about his work at the ministry.

Napo stated, "The NIB has invited me, and no one knows about it." He added, "I can’t even remember some things, but we have administrators who keep records."

He emphasized the importance of accountability for public officers. He noted that others from the previous government also visit the NIB. "Even tomorrow I will go there," he said.

Dr. Prempeh did not reveal specific reasons for his visits to the NIB. However, he confirmed it relates to his four-year tenure at the Education Ministry.

He urged politicians to serve their country diligently when given opportunities.
