Activist and Democracy Hub organizer Oliver Barker-Vormawor has denied claims linking him to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), insisting he has always supported the Convention People’s Party (CPP).
His response comes after Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin described him as a “notorious NDC member” during an Appointments Committee session.
Addressing the committee on January 29 over bribery allegations related to ministerial vetting, Barker-Vormawor dismissed the claim as false.
“I have never been a member of the NDC. My ideology has always been clear—I have consistently voted for the CPP and will continue to do so,” he stated.
While apologizing for his Facebook post, he firmly denied suggesting that NDC committee members accepted bribes from ministerial nominees.
