President John Dramani Mahama has acknowledged the challenge of appointing only 60 ministers, despite receiving thousands of CVs from hopeful candidates.
Speaking at the Presidential Dinner in Accra on January 8, Mahama emphasized assembling a capable team to meet Ghanaians' expectations.
"I have hit the ground running," he noted, referencing his meetings with multilateral and bilateral partners to address economic and social issues.
He reassured the public that contributing to his administration's success goes beyond ministerial roles, adding, "Getting this right ensures another term for our party."
Mahama pledged to avoid the mistakes of the previous government, stating, "There’s no use fighting for power if we repeat the NPP's arrogance and incompetence."
