I have no regrets about being replaced as Minority Leader – Haruna Iddrisu

Haruna Iddrisu, former Minority Leader in Parliament, has dismissed any claims of resentment over his removal from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) leadership.

Reflecting on his tenure, he described it as a “rare opportunity to serve” and affirmed his pride in his contributions.

Haruna emphasized that his leadership decisions were rooted in the collective will of the party, adding, “I don’t carry guilt in my heart; I had my opportunity.”

The NDC leadership, under Johnson Asiedu Nketia, recently appointed Cassiel Ato Forson as the new Minority Leader, alongside other changes.

Haruna expressed his continued commitment to the NDC’s vision and criticized the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) for poor economic management, which motivated his vigorous campaigning for the NDC.
