I’ll appoint not more than 60 ministers – Mahama reiterates

John Mahama, NDC’s flagbearer, has pledged to establish a lean and efficient government if elected, capping the number of ministers at 60.

During the NDC manifesto launch in Winneba, he emphasized that not all NDC members will be appointed, as others will be chosen to oversee key sectors.

Mahama plans to streamline government by merging certain ministries and eliminating redundant agencies to reduce expenditure and improve efficiency.

He aims to create the leanest government under the Fourth Republic, focusing on cutting unnecessary costs while ensuring effective governance.
