I'm happy with the Mike Oquaye report - Bawumia to NPP

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the 2024 Presidential Candidate for the NPP. He expressed satisfaction with a report from Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye.

On Wednesday, April 23, he spoke at the NPP headquarters in Accra. This was ahead of the party’s Thank You Tour. Dr. Bawumia called the report “thorough, insightful, and valuable.”

He noted that the findings align with the NPP’s vision and values. The recommendations will help shape the party's strategy for December elections. “I am happy with Professor Oquaye's work,” he said.

The former Speaker led a committee reviewing internal structures and electoral performance. He submitted his report to party leadership earlier this week.

Dr. Bawumia assured party members that they would consider the recommendations seriously. “We are not taking this lightly,” he stated. They will study the proposals carefully to strengthen unity and improve performance.
