I never left the NDC – Koku Anyidoho stands his ground

Koku Anyidoho, Founder of the Atta Mills Institute, has reiterated his unwavering commitment to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), dismissing claims that he has distanced himself from the party.

Speaking in an interview with Blakk Rasta, Anyidoho clarified that he never left the NDC, despite reports suggesting otherwise. He described his suspension as an unfair decision by the then-General Secretary, arguing that it lacked due process.

“I never received any official letter or correspondence. How do you declare someone guilty without a fair hearing?” he questioned.

Anyidoho maintained that while he sometimes holds differing views, that does not mean he has abandoned the party. He also refuted claims that he had attacked President John Mahama, stating that such narratives were fabrications.

Regarding reconciliation, he expressed openness to dialogue but insisted that those responsible for his suspension should acknowledge their actions. “If there is to be any magnanimity, it must come from those who wielded the axe without cause,” he asserted.
