Former National Petroleum Authority (NPA) CEO, Mustapha Hamid, has denied being under investigation by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) over an alleged GHC1.3 billion embezzlement case.
In a Facebook post following the OSP's February 12 press briefing, Hamid clarified that he had not received any formal invitation from any investigative body regarding the allegations.
However, he affirmed his readiness to cooperate if called upon.
The OSP had earlier announced a probe into suspected financial irregularities at the Unified Petroleum Pricing Fund (UPPF), naming Hamid alongside three others: UPPF Coordinator Jacob Amoah and NPA staff members Freda Acheampong and Wendy Ashong Newman.
