The Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi in the Savannah Region, Yusif Sulemana, has refuted claims of being sidelined after President John Dramani Mahama’s recent ministerial list did not include his name.
Addressing the issue, Sulemana assured his constituents that his close communication with President Mahama remains intact, and he is fully committed to serving their interests.
Following disturbances in his constituency over his omission, the MP emphasized that President Mahama’s promise of a lean Cabinet aligns with his vision for efficient governance.
Sulemana pointed out the unique advantage Bole has with Mahama's roots in the area, stating, “What do we need a minister for when we have the President himself from Bole?”
He called for calm among his supporters and urged them to trust the President’s leadership, which he believes will drive development for the constituency, even without a direct ministerial appointment.
