Samson Ahi, MP for Bodi, has expressed doubts about the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) chances of returning to power if the National Democratic Congress (NDC) addresses key electoral issues.
Speaking on Adom TV, he raised concerns about irregularities in voter registration, particularly in the Ashanti and Eastern Regions, which he believes gave the NPP an undue advantage in previous elections.
“If the NDC does things right, the NPP may not see power again in their lifetime,” Ahi stated, dismissing claims of voter apathy as a factor in the NPP’s 2024 loss.
He highlighted that under John Mahama’s leadership, the incoming government aims to create sustainable jobs through the “24-Hour Economy” initiative, promising a fresh direction to rebuild public trust.
