Foreign Affairs Minister nominee, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has expressed his readiness to undergo a second round of vetting by the Appointments Committee if required.
His initial vetting was suspended following a disagreement and a ruling from Speaker Alban Bagbin.
Ablakwa, in a Facebook post, accused the Minority of deliberately avoiding his vetting and criticized their failure to prosecute him during their time in power.
He defended his stance on accountability, emphasizing that protecting public resources is not a crime.
Ablakwa reaffirmed his commitment to President Mahama’s reform agenda for the Foreign Ministry.
