Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, Mussa Dankwah, has strongly defended the credibility and independence of his polling firm following backlash over a recent post-election survey.

Speaking on Adom FM, Mr. Dankwah dismissed allegations of political bias, stressing that Global InfoAnalytics is a professional polling organisation with no party affiliation.

“We are pollsters, and whether they like it or not, they should accept it. They are not going to tell us how to do our work,” he said.

Mr. Dankwah made it clear that the firm does not operate under pressure from any political group. “We are not a think tank or a pressure group; we are a company doing professional work. If you don’t want to listen to us, just put it in the bin,” he fired back.

He cited the 2024 general elections to back the firm’s credibility, stating that over 90% of their predictions, from national to constituency levels, were accurate.

“One example is Dome Kwabenya. They said we were mad when we predicted an NDC win—but who won in the end? The NDC,” he noted.

A recent Global InfoAnalytics poll revealed that 68% of respondents blame former President Nana Akufo-Addo for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) defeat in the 2024 elections.
