Bolgatanga Central MP, Isaac Adongo, has revealed that he was considered for a Deputy Ministerial role in President John Mahama’s administration but was advised by some that he was "above" such a position.
Speaking on the matter, Adongo clarified that he would have willingly accepted the role if offered, emphasizing his commitment to serving in any capacity for the government’s success.
He urged the public to trust the president’s appointments without applying undue pressure, adding that his exclusion from the current list does not mean his role in governance has ended.
“If His Excellency calls me to serve, it would be a privilege,” he stated, hinting that he may still be considered for a different appointment in due course.
