The competence of Justin Kodua Frimpong, General Secretary of the NPP, is being questioned.
Atik Mohammed, a former general secretary of the PNC, doubts his fitness for the role. He believes Justin has not shown effective leadership since his election.
Atik points out that Justin and other NPP leaders were absent during key campaign events for 2024.
He is also concerned that Justin has not engaged in meaningful debates with leaders from other parties.
Atik argues that if the NPP wants to progress, they need new, competent leaders.
In a social media post, he highlighted issues within the party's administration. He noted that the NPP struggles to pay its staff of fewer than 50 workers after four months in opposition.
Atik stated they might need to seek help from potential Flagbearer candidates to stay afloat.
He expressed concern about the lack of involvement from key party members during recent elections. Many who should represent the party lack charisma and drive.
He criticized Justin for not participating in important policy discussions with peers from other parties.
Atik warned that repeating these individuals in future contests could lead to more failures in 2024. He concluded by saying, "We listen, we watch and we judge."
