KNUST Student stabbed during NPP ‘Thank You’ tour event at Bantama

A student from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is in the hospital. He was stabbed multiple times during a New Patriotic Party event. This incident happened on Tuesday at the Bantama Pentecost Church in the Ashanti Region.

The victim was part of the Jama Group from Unity Hall. They were hired by former MP Kennedy Agyapong to entertain at the event. Eyewitnesses reported that a wealthy friend of Agyapong gave money to the Jama group.

Suddenly, a group of well-built men appeared and took the money. These men are believed to be NPP members and were armed with guns. This led to a confrontation between the Jama group and these men.

Gunshots were fired during the chaos, and one member of the Jama group was stabbed. He was rushed to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment. Kennedy Agyapong and his team have filed an official complaint with police.

As of now, no arrests have been made related to this incident.
