Former Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has endorsed President-elect John Dramani Mahama’s commitment to prayer and hard work as guiding principles for his administration.
Mahama, after his 2024 electoral victory, urged Ghanaians to pray fervently and prioritize selflessness, warning that those lacking dedication to national progress should refrain from joining his government.
He also pledged to introduce an annual National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving.
Reflecting on Mahama’s stance, Koku Anyidoho likened it to the leadership style of the late President John Evans Atta Mills, who valued prayer alongside hard work.
In a tweet, Anyidoho emphasized his support, stating, "If we are resetting to the days of fervent prayer and hard work, great. Ghana First."
