Govern Kwame Agbodza and Haruna Iddrisu, key ministerial nominees in President John Mahama’s administration, are set to appear before Parliament’s Appointments Committee today, January 20, 2025.

Agbodza, nominated for Roads and Highways, and Iddrisu, Education Minister-designate, will present their qualifications and policy plans for these crucial portfolios.

The vetting follows an official announcement on Parliament’s Facebook page, marking an important step in assessing the nominees' readiness to steer the government’s agenda.

This week’s sessions also include notable nominees like Ahmed Ibrahim for Local Government and Agnes Naa Momo Lartey for Gender and Social Protection.

The public vetting process, expected to conclude by January 27, provides stakeholders a platform to evaluate nominees’ competence and vision for their respective roles.
