Labadi Beach Hotel has withdrawn its legal bid to secure an interlocutory injunction against Polo Beach Club, marking a significant victory for the beachfront establishment, Daily Guide reports.
The dispute revolved around a 0.54-acre land parcel, with Hotel Investments (Ghana) Limited, operators of Labadi Beach Hotel, accusing Polo Beach Club of encroachment.
After securing a temporary 10-day injunction, the hotel opted to withdraw its application instead of contesting it in court.
This led the Land Court to dismiss the case and impose a GH₵4,000 cost against Labadi Beach Hotel.
Polo Beach Club’s legal team challenged the claims, citing inconsistencies in property boundaries.
The ruling allows the club to continue operations, reinforcing its position as a premier destination in Accra’s hospitality scene.
