Reverend John Ntim Fordjour, the Ranking Member of the Defence and Interior Committee, faces scrutiny over recent statements.
Larry Dogbey, Editor of The Herald, has criticized Fordjour for making exaggerated claims, questioning his credibility.
Fordjour recently stirred controversy by demanding transparency regarding two suspicious aircraft at Kotoka International Airport in March 2025—an assertion yet to be verified.
Dogbey argues that such unverified allegations could damage Parliament’s integrity.
In response, Fordjour has formally requested a high-level security briefing from agencies including National Security and the Police CID.
Set for April 7, 2025, the briefing will address ongoing investigations, including a major gold seizure and two cocaine busts worth over $470 million.
While his concerns are valid, critics remain wary of his approach.
