Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Owusu Bempah, has expressed doubts about the success of President-elect John Dramani Mahama’s second term, predicting a repeat of his previous term’s failures.
Speaking on Oyerepa TV, Owusu Bempah warned that Mahama’s administration would bring back dumsor (power outages) and struggle to sustain the Free SHS program due to financial constraints.
He claimed that the new government would be unable to raise sufficient revenue, resulting in challenges to continue the Free SHS initiative. Owusu Bempah emphasized that Mahama’s return would only “punish the Ghanaian people.”
