Minority Members of Parliament marched to the Police Headquarters. They petitioned the Inspector General of Police. Their concern is the delay in declaring election results for Ablekuma North. This follows the 2024 General Elections.
Minority Chief Whip Frank Annoh Dompreh spoke to journalists. He addressed them on Wednesday, June 4, at the Police Headquarters. He urged police to protect the Electoral Commission (EC). This protection would help ensure timely declaration of results.
Dompreh emphasized that no declared MP for Ablekuma North is a serious issue. He stated this absence violates constitutional rights. These rights are guaranteed under the 1992 constitution.
