Former Greater Accra NDC Chairman, Joseph Ade Coker, has called on Ghanaians—especially the Minority in Parliament—to exercise patience regarding the ongoing cocaine trafficking probe.
His appeal follows Minority-led demands for urgent disclosure on two suspicious aircraft—AirMed Flight N823AM and Cavok Air Antonov An-12B—that landed in Ghana in March 2025. The AirMed flight, initially listed as an air ambulance, reportedly stayed for five days without transporting patients, while the Cavok jet departed after 13 days.
Speaking on Channel One TV, Coker stressed that security agencies need time to build a strong case. Meanwhile, journalist Elvis Darko criticized the government’s handling of the issue, warning of national security risks and questioning the transparency of the investigations.
